Abstract Landscape Collage
August 20th
1:00 - 2:00pm PT

We will explore the magic of watercolor as a form of emotional release. We will use wet on wet and wet on dry techniques to release our emotions onto the page to see what happens. We will let those pages dry and explore cutting and tearing techniques to build an abstract landscape with our watercolor pages. We will play with texture, color and explore how our brain interprets different visual techniques - and by the end of the class we will each have an emotive landscape scene exploring the themes of water and sky.

Facilitated by SilverKite® Teaching Artist Ashley McEneny

Supplies:
-Watercolor Paper or Mixed Media Paper (Please bring 5-6 pages)
-Watercolor Pigments (water in dish, a variety of brush sizes, paper towel)
-Sharpie (or any permanent marker) fine size recommended
