Discover how much fun and creative exercise can be. We know we need to improve our strength, stability, and endurance. But can a workout be more than that? Can the same movements that support our well-
being also help us connect to the music, our feelings, and each other? Using familiar movement patterns found in exercise classes, combined with varying tempos, participants will connect with their core, explore
reach and grounding, and engage with the music.

All levels of fitness and mobility are welcome.

Creative Writing: As a Tree
December 10th
1:00 - 2:00pm

Often there's been a tree in our lives. It may've been a mango tree in your front yard, or an old tree hollow you made a fort out of. It might've been a giant redwood, or one that volunteered to grow in your gutter. In this workshop we'll explore our experiences with trees through writing. Participants will receive prompts which help recall sensory details of their special tree and the world they shared with it to create a short piece of reflective writing.
