About the event

As we begin a new year, how can we invite deeper connection to ourselves and others in more creative and playful ways? During our time together we’ll explore how self-care and well-being can be addressed through mindful arts practice. Each week we will offer a different topic to discuss accompanied by arts engagement activities such as watercolor painting, visual journaling, collage, or gentle movement. By the end of the series, everyone will take home a self-care arts engagement box filled with tools to keep the practice going, along with a refreshed perspective on using the arts to support well-being.

Facilitated by SilverKite® Teaching Artist Mollia Jensen and Bertha Marselis

We recognize SilverKite Community Arts® operates on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, Muckleshoot, Puyallup, Snoqualmie and Tulalip tribes - past, present, and future - as well as those whose names we do not know. We honor, with gratitude, the tribal Elders of the Pacific Northwest and their descendants for their stewardship of the water, the land, and its inhabitants.

SilverKite stands in solidarity with the First Peoples of this land by paying Real Rent.
