About the event

Design artwork with messages for our community.

Using stencil, sticker, acrylic paint, tracing techniques, and comic-inspired styles, participants will design artwork with messages for our community. Influenced by graffiti, collage, zines, and poster art to create posters meant to be seen and displayed in a window or shared space. These serve as small, powerful markers that say “you’re part of this place” and aim to define our community identity. Add symbols, images, or short messages to make it your own!

We recognize SilverKite Community Arts® operates on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, Muckleshoot, Puyallup, Snoqualmie and Tulalip tribes - past, present, and future - as well as those whose names we do not know. We honor, with gratitude, the tribal Elders of the Pacific Northwest and their descendants for their stewardship of the water, the land, and its inhabitants.

SilverKite stands in solidarity with the First Peoples of this land by paying Real Rent.
