SilverKite Community Arts®, 231 Summit Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102, USA

About the event

Create a shimmering hanging sculpture designed to catch the rainbow. Using beads, iridescent film, and colorful reflective materials, participants will craft mobiles that scatter light into a kaleidoscope of color – like a DIY sun-catcher with a hint of disco sparkle.

Each piece is made to move, glow, and transform with the light. Take yours home to brighten a window, or add it to the SilverKite street display to build a collective, color-filled installation that shifts and sparkles throughout the day.

We recognize SilverKite Community Arts® operates on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Stillaguamish, Muckleshoot, Puyallup, Snoqualmie and Tulalip tribes - past, present, and future - as well as those whose names we do not know. We honor, with gratitude, the tribal Elders of the Pacific Northwest and their descendants for their stewardship of the water, the land, and its inhabitants.
